Sharon Burrell
Sharon Burrell is a corporate executive in the Public Sector Division of a fortune 50 corporation where she oversees industry strategy for several federal government agencies including the White House and Capitol Hill. She is responsible for solution marketing, information technology strategy, training, revenue growth and profit, and expenses. She has over 20 years experience in corporate industry with strong focus on customer satisfaction and leadership through quality processes. Among her previous responsibilities, she has experience in sales, business planning, human resources, program management and leadership development. Ms Burrell received her undergraduate degree in business administration from Michigan State University in1973. She has acquired additional training in executive communication and presentation skills, leadership behavior, finance, and information systems. In 1994, Ms Burrell founded Concentric Leadership, a consulting firm, providing executive coaching, organizational transformation strategy, ethics/values in the workplace, and human resource/incentive management. Ms. Burrell resides in the Washington, DC area and is a member of National Association of Female Executives, National Association of Female Business Owners and National Institute of Business and Industrial Chaplains.
Diedre Sherman
For the past two decades, Ms. Sherman has been employed in managerial and consulting positions in the Document Management Industry, focusing on the public sector, professional services industry, and healthcare market segments. Ms. Sherman is a graduate of the University of Maryland, with a degree in Government and Politics where her emphasis was Economics. Additional postgraduate work has been in the areas of executive leadership, quality processes, software solutions and applications, negotiations and consultative selling.
The foundation of Ms. Sherman’s Document Management experience was formed at Xerox Corporation, where she began her professional career. Employed by fortune 50 companies for 20 years, Ms. Sherman managed financials as a controller of a $20 million dollar operation, and held numerous sales and marketing positions focused on Document Outsourcing. Ms. Sherman’s experience includes 7 years managing the document output operations (mail, copy /print, & distribution centers) for outsourcing clients in the Washington Metropolitan area. Ms. Sherman received numerous recognition awards for top performance, and business process improvements during her tenure as a corporate executive.
Jerry Sherman
As a general partner, Jerry Sherman manages Burman’s Business & IT Strategic Consulting practice of Burman Consulting. He focuses on the development and growth of Burman’s consulting and technology services, from sourcing strategy formulation to strategy execution, negotiations and relationship governance.
Mr. Sherman has 25 years of comprehensive experience in senior management, sales and marketing, business development and information system technologies. Prior to joining Burman, Mr. Sherman held several senior positions with leading vendors in the Information Technology industry. Most recently, he was director of Business Development at Thomas & Herbert Consulting, one of the fastest growing consulting firms in the federal government marketplace. Mr. Sherman has held executive and senior management positions with several
companies, including CEO of Maxcess Corporation, the first company to develop a web-enabled enterprise resource management system for the library and information science market. He also has
served in numerous sales, management, and project management positions with global 1000, small and mid sized
companies. Mr. Sherman an honorably discharged Veteran.
